GME introduced a new booth and new products at CON EXPO 2008. Interest and booth traffic were very high as GME Exhibited models of the Port-A-Bridge, Exit Grid, and the GME E&S Slide Rail system.

 

 

 Attendees from all over the USA, Canada, and many parts of the world visited GME's booth for more information and technical advise. GME's best distributors were also regular attendees in the booth to discuss upcoming business and add their expertise

GME will be displaying the Port-A-Bridge at the Forestry Resource Expo In Prince George, Alberta, Canada June 5th thru the 7th.

 

GME's Port-A-Bridge Modular Bridge system is ideal for use on logging projects.

The bridge can traverse gullies, streams, creeks, and other impediments, to allow equipment and crews safer, quicker access to and from remote work sites. It works to eliminate costly detours and wasted man-hours, and helps protect waterways and foliage areas from excessive environmental disturbance.

This portable bridge system can be easily removed and transported from site to site, resulting in savings of time and money with repeated use, compared to culverts or permanent bridges built on site.

The Port-A-Bridge is constructed of fully-welded structural steel, available in 10-foot increments from 20 to 50 feet long. Each section is 6 feet wide. Two units join together to form a 12" wide bridge structure that provides vehicles, equipment and personnel with clear, secure passage. The Port-A-Bridge System is designed to carry HS25 loading and is also designed in accordance with AASHTO-US bridge design code by licensed professional engineers.
