Can more than one bridge section be placed side by side? 

Yes. Multiple sections can be placed side-by-side to allow for multiple and simultaneous crossings. 

Does the bridge have to be fastened to an abutment or pier?  

No. It can be laid directly on firm ground.  It is advisable to fasten it to an abutment for bridges that are more than two lanes wide or if they will have heavy loads utilizing the bridge. 

Does it come with a non-skid coating? 

Yes.  It is coated with a polyuria epoxy with a steel, non-slip grit.
